Frequently Asked Questions
Do veneers always involve shaving down your teeth?
No. When teeth are small, worn, slightly spaced, or angled inwards, we can often place no-prep or micro-prep Feather Veneers® additively. Where a tooth slightly protrudes, we may smooth 0.2mm–0.3mm of outer enamel (less than a fingernail’s thickness) so the final veneer never looks bulky.
How does the Trial Smile let me preview my teeth before committing?
Before our Master Ceramist crafts your porcelain, Dr Sam Jethwa hand-sculpts your proposed smile onto your teeth using temporary composite. You wear this home, see it in daylight and photos, and request any tweaks to length, shape, or shade before final porcelain is made.
What happens if I’m nervous about dental treatment?
Your first visit is a relaxed 45-minute Smile Discovery conversation — no drills, no pressure. For treatment visits, we offer unhurried appointments, numbing gels, and intravenous sedation if you wish to feel completely relaxed throughout.
